The Audi launches the unveiling Audi TT RS Roadster in the Italian market, the two-seater convertible with high performance and compact shapes that goes hand in hand with the latest generation of the Audi TT coupe that had debut in June.
The Audi TT RS Roadster is the product of the Audi Sport department, with the use of the world’s five most powerful 5-cylinder powertrain capable of winning eight times the title of “Engine of the Year”. The compact and powerful 5-cylinder 2.5 liter TFSI maneuvering the TT RS is managed by the S tronic automatic transmission and is capable of discharging four-wheel drive with incredible power of 400 hp and a maximum torque of 480 Nm.
These incredible numbers combined with an extremely handy car body (with weight on the balance that stops at 1,530 Kg thanks to the use of the Audi space frame further evolved). They give the pilot a thrilling performance that can be summed up in a single shot from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 280 km/h.
The car features an extremely sporty look, which boasts all the typical features of the German RS car: bumpers with large air vents, pronounced front splitter, side skirts, rear air extractor that incorporates four stainless steel exhausts, specific alloy wheels, carbon fiber mirror covers and aileron mounted on the tail, not forgetting eye-catching OLED Audi Matrix rear projector.
Even inside the passenger compartment, a strong “racing” character is breathed through the use of sporty equipment, low-wheeled sports seats with a small diameter, low-wheeled sports seats with a small diameter, digital audio equipment Audi Virtual Cockpit with a 12.3-inch display that can be set according to needs, carbon fiber inserts for the dashboard, and leather and alcantara covers for seats and door panels. The car is equipped with a lightweight fabric top, which can be opened and locked electrically in just 10 seconds, even in motion up to a speed of 50 km/h.
To further enhance the sportsmanship of the TT RS, we can choose between 3 different packages: the “Dynamic” provides the RS sports exhaust system and the RS Plus sports trim with Audi magnetic ride. At higher level, we find the “Dynamic Plus” that adds a braking system with ceramic on front discs and the electronic limiter of the top speed moved to 280 km/h. At the top, the “Dynamic Race” is able to understand the most sporty equipment to maximize the car’s core spirit.
